In Bhopal, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced the launch of a new initiative to enhance tourism and investment in Madhya Pradesh. He showcased Ujjain's Vedic clock as a global landmark for timekeeping and highlighted Bhopal as a flourishing tourist destination. The state is actively tapping into the vast potential of tourism, as mentioned by the CM at the 39th annual conference of the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO). CM Yadav also commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his recent train journey from Poland to Ukraine, underscoring India's growing influence on the global stage. The event featured the release of the IATO manual and a film about the association. The late M L Rajdan of Rajdan Holidays was posthumously honored with the Hall of Fame Award, accepted by his daughter-in-law, Anita Rajdan. Puneet Chhatwal, MD and CEO of Indian Hotel Company Limited, was also recognized during the event. Principal Secretary of Tourism and Culture, Sheo Shekhar Shukla, expressed optimism that the IATO Madhya Pradesh Convention will set a new standard for future gatherings. He encouraged delegates to explore the state's historical sites, vibrant culture, and natural beauty, urging them to promote Madhya Pradesh as a must-visit destination for both local and international travelers. A captivating cultural presentation titled "Enchanting Madhya Pradesh: The Heartland of India" was performed by the Madhya Pradesh Government's Culture Department, directed by Maitreyi Pahar.The 40-minute dance performance by 53 artists displayed the state's rich history and stunning natural beauty in a presentation. Kailash Sisodia and his team from Dhar performed the traditional Bhagoria dance of the Bhil tribe, captivating tour operators from different parts of the country at the event.
